CAD Block Lighting
1. Function introduction
How to quickly flip the mold after having already drawn a CAD point plan?
Lighting design tools can now recognize CAD point drawings.
Identify the blocks in the CAD drawing, drag the equipment to the block point, and automatically place the equipment on the block with the same name.
3. Operating steps
Advance Preparation.
1. Program with uploaded cad basemap.
2. In CAD, luminaires are drawn in blocks.
Operation details:
Step1:In 2D view, turn on the CAD block lighting switch.Step2:Select the model from the left column, drag it to a block, you can batch place it on all the blocks with the same name.
4. Common problems
Q: Why are some lights not recognized?
A: Only the contents drawn in CAD in the form of a block can be recognized. The following cases can't be recognized.
- Lamps are lines instead of blocks.
- Lamps are blocks, but wrapped in other blocks.
Q: Why can't I see the cad base drawing in 2D view? Why the wall is black in 3D view?
A: Please check the transparency of the floor plan.
A: The modeling display is abnormal, please check the transparency of the modeling.
- If you need to see the cad base plan in 2D view, the transparency of the floor plan is recommended to be about 60%.
- In 3d view, the transparency of the floor plan is recommended to be 100%.
