2024/12/24 UPDATE-【Workspace】

【Workspace】Supports Enterprise Custom Catalog

Target Users

All Coohom enterprise users (Limited-time free offer)

Before

For enterprise users, they can upload their own 3D models and textures to Coohom for design. Previously, enterprises could only have one Enterprise Catalog to manage all models, without the ability to use multiple catalogs for separate management by different accounts.

After

Now, as long as they purchase the features related to “Custom Catalog,” enterprises can set up multiple catalogs for their company and assign relevant responsible persons for each corresponding catalog.

How to use

Enabling Features

You need to contact your Customer Success Advisor to trial or purchase services related to “Custom Catalog”.

Usage Steps

1.Create a New Custom Catalog:

You need to log in with the admin account and create a new catalog under the Custom Catalog section of the Enterprise Catalog.

Then, you need to name the new catalog and designate its administrator by entering the email of that account. Finally, you need to choose the synchronization method for products, determining whether this catalog can sync products from the main Enterprise Catalog.

2.Import Products into the Catalog:

As an administrator of that catalog, you can enter the corresponding Enterprise Catalog you wish to manage and upload, edit, or delete products within this catalog.

Permission Explanation

Who can become an administrator of a certain Custom Catalog?

  • Admin Account:
The admin account inherently has personnel and product management permissions for all Enterprise Catalogs.

Manager Account:
Additionally, as a manager, if designated by an admin account as an administrator of a specific Custom Catalog, they will also be able to manage that corresponding Custom Catalog. You can go to the catalog management page, select the appropriate catalog, and add an account into that specific Custom Catalog.

  • Other Accounts:
If an account is not a supervisor but wishes to manage a certain Custom Catalog, simply adding that account with the appropriate application role will grant them permission to manage that Custom Catalog (as shown in the image).

  • Setting Application Scenarios for a Specific Custom Catalog

Each catalog can be configured with specific available industries. For example, if you want a particular Custom Catalog only to manage 3D products without managing custom products or flooring products, you can go to the management page of that corresponding Custom Catalog and deselect options for custom products and flooring products.
