Ⅰ.Upload molding contour

Click create asset and upload molding contour DXF file.

Edit classify information and save in correspond folder.

Ⅱ.Creation Position

Custom Furniture —Create Asset—Parametric Model Library—New—Internal Parts—Door

.Setting Parameters

3.1 Basic Parameters:

3.1.1 Width (W) - Represents the size of the model panel in the X-axis direction. Set the value type as a range (e.g., range 70-1200, current value: 500).

3.1.2 Depth (D) - Represents the size of the model panel in the Y-axis direction. Set the value type as a options (e.g., optional 18, current value: 18).

3.1.3 Height (H) - Represents the size of the model panel in the Z-axis direction. Set the value type as a range (e.g., range 300-2400, current value: 600).

3.1.4 Material - No modification needed, indicating that the Door uses the default material.

Ⅳ.Importing Submodels

4.1 Develop panel

Choose develop from elements and modify basic properties,select a molding from folder and set RotateX to -90 and Rotate Z to -90.

Edit its path:point 2(0,#H)

4.2 Array panel

Copy one more develop panel for backup.

Right click and array the first panel

Set array attributes, Array direction: +Z; Array length: #W; step size:70

Modify the other panel’s dimension,set truncated height to: #W%70 (% means returns the remainder after (integer) division),set Position X to #W-#W%70.

Now it completed.

Ⅳ. Test the Model

Input values within the range of parameters W, D, and H, observe if the model changes correctly. If it does, it means the model is working fine. 

Ⅴ. Save to Library

Click on the file in the upper right corner and choose save, select the subdirectory for saving, name it, and click save.
